A two-day symposium on film featuring talks by philosophers, film critics, and others. Robert Pippin of the University of Chicago and George Wilson of USC will speak on film noir on Friday. Saturday will feature talks by Jean Ma, Malcolm Turvey, Pavle Levi, Karla Oeler, Jean-Pierre Dupuy, Joshua Landy, and noted film critic David Thomson.
