This lecture aims to showcase the work and contribution of leading figures from the continent and the African diaspora in the US and elsewhere. At its best, the lecture foregrounds, celebrates, and sparks debate about the cutting-edge intellectual contributions of exciting and prominent thought leaders from the African continent and its diaspora
