Matthew   Ribar

Matthew Ribar is a graduate student in the Department of Political Science. Prior to Stanford, he worked at Mathematica Policy Research as an impact evaluator, mostly for the Millennium Challenge Corporation. He worked on projects ranging from a land tenure and irrigation intervention in Senegal, electrical infrastructure improvements in Benin, and water access improvements in Cabo Verde. At Stanford, he studies the political economy of development and violence.
