Dr. Joel Cabrita, CAS Affiliate and Stanford Assistant Professor of History, was recently featured in the Stanford News for her dynamic research on religion, transnational networks, and the politics of memory.

Captivated by historical narrative since her childhood in South Africa, her themes explore the question of who gets remembered by history, who gets forgotten, and why.

Check out Dr. Cabrita's thoughtful perspective, and learn more about her work at the upcoming Doing Good Conference, co-sponsored by CAS.
